I've earned $200!

On October 26, 2009 I joined Swagbucks and as of this morning, I have officially earned $200 in Amazon Gift Cards! At first I couldn't see how people were earning/winning so many but I asked for a little help, stuck it out, and now it's become an obsession. What I'd like for all of you to know is that you can do it too and I'm here to show you how. 

If you haven't heard of Swagbucks or aren't really sure about what it is, this is the low down! It's a site where you can win/earn digital dollars called Swagbucks just by searching the web. It's like google but you can win for searching for things that you would normally search for. Their Search Engine is actually powered by Google and Ask, it's perfectly safe. You'll have an opportunity to earn Swagbucks from searching each day and also from codes that are randomly put out. Once you start earning/winning SwagBucks they can be exchanged for gift cards, paypal cash, concert tickets, and more.

First things first: If you're not a member yet, you can sign up here. You'll receive 30 Swagbucks just for signing up. Once you've done that, come back here and learn how to earn even more.

After you've become a member, you'll want to download the toolbar. You don't have to but it makes searching way easier! You won't have to remember to go to the Swagbucks site every time you want to search and if you have the toolbar, you can be rewarded with DAILY Swagbucks just for having it installed.

Next become a fan of the Swagbucks Fan Page on Facebook. Fellow Swaggers are usually pretty helpful and most of the time you'll know there's a code out when people are filling the wall with "Thanks TSG!" While you're messing with Facebook, use the Facebook Connect button. By using the Facebook connect feature your friends and family can see what you've won and will want to know what it's all about.

Keep up with the Swagbucks Blog and Twitter. You don't have to have a Twitter account or know how to use it to get codes from it.

Sign up for the Newsletter- There's usually only 1 newsletter per month but it does contain a code just for you.

Invite your Friends and Family to join- When you invite others to join Swagbucks, they win and you win. You can earn matching Swag Bucks from what your friends or family earn from searching. It's one of the easiest ways to add up Swag Bucks fast. It's very important to only have ONE account per household though. You can find a link on how to promote Swag Bucks to your friends from the homepage.

Promote it-If you have a website, blog, MySpace, or other way of promoting Swag Bucks, you can use the Promote section to grab your own personal referral link and banners.

Shop & Earn- Swagbucks has partnered with 100's of stores including WalMart, Books-A-Million, and Foot Locker where if you shop through the link Shop & Earn you'll receive 2 Swagbucks for every $1 you spend.

Trade In's- If you're not using an old cell phone, video games, iPod, or other electronics you can send them in and they'll pay you in Swag Bucks for recycling.

Do some Special Offers- There are 3 walls of different Special Offers. Some of them are worth a couple of  Swagbuck while others are worth hundreds. I only do offers from companies I trust like SnapFish, VistaPrint, Disney Movie Club, and a couple of others. You can pick what's right for you.

The average is anywhere from 10-50 Swagbucks per day from searching. I usually average 30 plus a code. You're not going to get rich from this but you will be able to cash in for some great prizes. I joined October 26, 2009 and I've earned $200 in Amazon Gift Cards already. My goal for this year is to earn at least $50/month and use it all for Christmas Shopping.

EVERYDAY you'll be able to earn Swagbucks for using the toolbar and for following these simple directions.

Go to the top of the Swagbucks home page and click on "Ways to Earn"

You'll be directed to a page that has this on it.

Click on the blue box that says "Go Now". You'll be directed to a series of offers from sponsers. They all have a "SKIP" option.

After skipping 5-6 offers, you'll be presented with Swagbucks. You can do this once EVERYDAY! This should get you started off on the fast track plus if I'm online when a code comes out, I will post on where to find. If you need any help, just ask and goodluck!
